Bristol v Bath live stream: How to watch from anywhere

first_img Bristol v Bath live stream: How to watch from anywhereThe Gallagher Premiership returns with a bang – a West Country derby between Bristol Bears and Bath at Ashton Gate (7.45pm). And it’s the hosts who have a swagger in their step, leading the league on the back of five successive wins since being pipped at Wasps in round one.Samoa captain Chris Vui is one of six changes to the Bristol side that stunned champions Exeter 20-7 in their previous match three weeks ago. With Max Malins, Harry Randall and Ben Earl away on Test duty, there are starts for Henry Purdy, Andy Uren and Dan Thomas.Kyle Sinckler is serving the first game of a two-match ban imposed for swearing at referee Karl Dickson. The Lions tighthead was omitted from England’s Six Nations squad in a ploy to potentially free him up for their round two match against Italy.Ioan Lloyd, surprisingly left out of the Wales squad, starts at fly-half. Bristol’s regular ten, Callum Sheedy, is named on the bench having been released from Wales camp on Thursday.Box seat: Ioan Lloyd gets a run in the stand-off position for Bristol, instead of the outside backs (Getty)DoR Pat Lam had argued for playing Premiership games over the past fortnight after the European competitions were halted. But he said: “It was disappointing initially not to play but it’s been a blessing in disguise. Not the fact that we haven’t played rugby or have rested, it’s more about the quality of the work we’ve managed to get done in those two weeks.“We’ve worked pretty hard on our game and done some work that maybe we’d normally reserve for pre-season. Now it’s all about sharpening the axe as we go into games.”Bath make seven changes from the side involved in a 52-44 home defeat by Wasps last time out. Charlie Ewels, Will Stuart and Beno Obano are in England camp, while Sam Underhill is having treatment on the hip injury that forced him to drop out of Eddie Jones’s squad.Juan Schoeman and Christian Judge come into the front row, Miles Reid replaces Underhill, and Josh Matavesi partners Jonathan Joseph in midfield in the absence of Cameron Redpath, who is with Scotland. Lock Josh McNally wears the captaincy armband. No way through: Tom de Glanville seeks space during Bath’s ding-dong loss to Wasps this month (Getty)South African hooker Jacques du Toit, 27, signed from Toyota Cheetahs this week, is not available. He is isolating in line with Covid protocols.Bath go into the weekend in ninth spot. They have won just once this season, at Worcester, although also collected the points from a cancelled clash with London Irish. They can draw little comfort from last season’s Premiership meetings with the Bears. Bristol thumped Bath 43-16 in round one, Lloyd scoring one of their seven tries on his debut. And they won the reverse fixture 19-13 last March – their first win at The Rec for 14 years. So Bath will hope it’s payback time in tonight’s match, which will be refereed by Wayne Barnes.Watch highlights below of Bristol’s emphatic home win over Bath last season…Bristol: Charles Piutau; Luke Morahan, Semi Radradra, Piers O’Conor, Henry Purdy; Ioan Lloyd, Andy Uren; Jake Woolmore, Bryan Byrne, John Afoa, Dave Attwood, Chris Vui, Steven Luatua (capt), Dan Thomas, Nathan Hughes.Replacements: 16 Will Capon, 17 Yann Thomas, 18 Jake Armstrong, 19 Ed Holmes, 20 Jake Heenan, 21 Tom Kessell, 22 Callum Sheedy, 23 Alapati Leiua.Bath: Tom de Glanville; Ruaridh McConnochie, Jonathan Joseph, Josh Matavesi, Gabriel Hamer-Webb; Rhys Priestland, Ben Spencer; Juan Schoeman, Tom Dunn, Christian Judge, Josh McNally (capt), Elliott Stooke, Josh Bayliss, Miles Reid, Zach Mercer..Replacements: 16 Jack Walker, 17 Jamie Bhatti, 18 Henry Thomas, 19 Mike Williams, 20 Taulupe Faletau, 21 Will Chudley, 22 Cameron Redpath, 23 Joe Cokanasiga..Here’s how to find a reliable live stream of Bristol v Bath wherever you are…How to watch Bristol v Bath from outside your countryIf you’re abroad but still want to watch your local Premiership coverage, like Bristol v Bath, you can do so by using a VPN – Virtual Private Network.VPNs allow you to get around any geo-blocking by changing your IP address. British and Irish Lions look forward to the first Test vs Australia

first_imgThursday Jun 20, 2013 British and Irish Lions look forward to the first Test vs Australia The waiting is almost over for the British & Irish Lions. On Saturday they take on Australia in the first test in Brisbane, hoping to match the result achieved the last time the Lions played a test in Queensland’s biggest city. That game in 2001, also the first test of the series, ended in a Lions win and was made memorable by the ‘Sea of Red’ that greeted the tourists when they ran on the pitch, with the travelling support making it seem more like a home game.  The Lions go into the match after losing their 100% tour record on Tuesday against the ACT Brumbies; a result, which has somewhat pricked the aura that had been building around the squad.Justin Tipuric has been unlucky to miss out on selection. Speaking ahead of the game, Tipuric said that the Lions won’t be picking out any particular Australian for special treatment. “They have so many [dangermen] that you can’t pinpoint one or two, if you do that then it will open holes up for the other players. You just have to stop the momentum they get in attack.”Prop Matt Stevens was a surprise pick for the squad, but has been making his presence felt off the pitch with his musical skills.“I’ve brought the guitar along. All the boys like a singsong. There are lots of other guitarists in the team, Jamie Roberts and Sean Maitland – and they are much better guitarists than me!”Come Saturday, British & Irish Lions fans will be hoping it is they who are calling the tune.View the teams for the first TestADVERTISEMENT Posted By: rugbydump Share Send Thanks Sorry there has been an error British & Irish Lions 2013 Related Articles 235 WEEKS AGO Warren Gatland confirms British & Irish Lions… 399 WEEKS AGO Brian O’Driscoll’s incredible skill at training… 413 WEEKS AGO Montage of Amazing Lions Test series in Australia,… From the WebThis Video Will Soon Be Banned. Chief instigator Wilson opens up on what really happened with THAT Farrell tunnel fight

first_imgFriday Nov 13, 2020 Chief instigator Wilson opens up on what really happened with THAT Farrell tunnel fight Scotland forward Ryan Wilson has told the RugbyPass Offload podcast all about what happened during the infamous 2018 Six Nations tunnel incident between Scotland and England. Wilson was right in the heart of it, which led to an amusing ban later on!ADVERTISEMENTAn investigation followed after a scuffle broke out in the tunnel ahead of the Murrayfield clash, in which Scotland won 25-13.Footage showed that Farrell charged down the tunnel to get involved in something that happened between Wilson and George Ford.As Wilson explains in this video, it was he who said something to wind up Ford, and it clearly worked.“You get under their skin and you can see it,” said Wilson of how they refused to let the more dominant England side intimidate them.Six Nations Rugby later investigated and warned all players involved, but no further disciplinary action took place.ADVERTISEMENTWatch the incident below: Posted By: rugbydump Share Send Thanks Sorry there has been an error News Related Articles 25 WEEKS AGO Exeter vs Toulouse is off as a number of… 25 WEEKS AGO Danny Cipriani leaves Gloucester with immediate… 25 WEEKS AGO ‘Aphiwe can’t believe it. Released freedom fighter to speak in NYC Sept. 30

first_imgFreedom fighter Rev. Edward Pinkney, recently released from prison after serving 30 months, will be at a reception and public meeting at the Solidarity Center on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 147 West 24th Street in New York City.Rev. Pinkney was imprisoned on trumped-up charges of falsifying signatures on a petition to recall Mayor James Hightower of Benton Harbor, Mich., in 2007. The case, which went to the Michigan Court of Appeals, concluded when the court decided no evidence was necessary to convict Pinkney, and that his past organizing work created suspicion of motive to forge dates on the petition. Many have said that this grievous miscarriage of justice was merely a front by the state to attempt to murder Pinkney, a Black community organizer in his 60s, via incarceration. Following a massive campaign in Michigan and across the U.S. to win his freedom, Rev. Pinkney was released on June 13.The International Action Center, New Abolitionist Movement and Free Mumia Coalition (NYC) are hosting the event for this inspiring freedom fighter’s visit to New York. Those planning to attend should send an RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday, Sept. 28.FacebookTwitterWhatsAppEmailPrintMoreShare thisFacebookTwitterWhatsAppEmailPrintMoreShare thislast_img read more

Oil Prices Higher in the 3rd Quarter

first_imgPrices ended lower three out of the past five sessions, with oil jumping 2.1% Thursday after a speech from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the United Nations General Assembly fanned fears of military intervention to stop Iran’s nuclear program. Crude-oil futures on Friday ended a seesawing session in the black, a result that pushed quarterly gains to 8.5%, their highest since the fourth quarter of 2011. Worries about the Mideast and a boost from a fresh volley of economic stimulus in the U.S. and elsewhere pushed oil higher in recent months, although profit-taking and a resurgence of fears about the euro zone have taken a toll in September.
